The readable side shows an image of St Philip holding a cross headed staff flanked by the letetrs [S] X P. The other side seems to have a circular wreath border, but is otherwise too worn to see.

The object is sub rectangular in form and section and consists of solid circular sectioned wings which hold a central hinged pin. The bow is rectangular in form and slightly curved with a central ridge decorated with two incised lines running its length. It is missing its base, pin and catchplate.

It has a flat bow which is curved into a C shape and terminates with a large circular sectioned catchplate with a spherical base. The bow is decorated with a central double ridge running its length. The brooch is missing its upper bow and pin.

Roman copper alloy finger ring, 17mm in diameter, 11mm wide and bezel and 2mm thick. The ring is in fair condition, missing part of its band, and weighs 2.01grams. The bezel is oval in form and rectangular in section and is decorated with four sub triangular cells which once held enamel. It has plain shoulders which taper in width to form the band. Dr Lindsey Smith comments on OXON-B47D97 : Enamelled finger-rings appear to be a product of the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. This particular style, classified by Adam Daubney as a Type 3a, is typically found in Central to Eastern England …

Medieval? copper alloy bar 41mm long and 9mm deep. The object is in good condition with a green/brown patina and weighs 5.83grams. The object consists of a central open circle 8mm in diameter. This is flanked on either side by a bar made up of semi-circular shapes which have splayed terminals. One side appears complete and has two semi-circles which terminate in a straight edge, whilst the other side has one and a half semi-circles. There are small traces of gilding in patches. The object resembles a purse bar or some sort of swivel fitting but I can't find a parallel.

Late Iron Age - early Roman copper alloy Langton Down bow brooch, 19mm long, 15mm wide and 5mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 1.48grams. It consists of part of a circular sectioned wing with the upper part of a rectangular shaped and curved bow. The bow is decorated with a series of vertical depressions running its length. The brooch is similar to examples in Hattatt, R. A visual catalogue of ancient brooches, page 306, fig 165 and is dated to the first century.

The object consists of a circular sectioned shaft which is decorated with a spiral wire of gold, creating a screw thread effect. At one end the object has a small circular loop and at the other it has a rectangular projection which has snapped off. This could either be the begining of a scoop or a flat nail cleaning impliment.

A mid Bronze Age copper-alloy leaf-shaped razor. 93mm long, 27mmm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 19.33grams. The razor has a leaf-shaped (pointed oval) form with a projecting rectangular cross-sectioned tang at one end. The blade runs the length of each side and is intact at its upper pointed edge, but damaged along the sides. It has a pronounced angular mid rib visible on one face and just a hint of a rib on the other. The tang is bent round to form a hook like shape and is not pierced as in some cases. The nearest comparable example is WAW-878535, the object dates to 2,150-1…
