Medieval copper alloy and gold harness pendant, 22mm long, 15mm wide and 0.5mm thick. The object is in fair condition a reddish patina and weighs 0.80 grams. The object is sub-circular and very slightly domed. It has an integral suspension loop 8mm long and 4mm wide. It is incomplete, missing part of its right side. It has no sign of decoration other than a large patch of gilding, some of which is obscured by corroison.

Medieval copper alloy and gold harness fitting? 33mm long, 14mm wide and 1mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 1.91 grams. The object is in two pieces and may be missing the central part? the first part consists of a flat triangular plate which is missing part of its wider edge and has a small central circular hole. It has patches of gilding on one surface. The other fragment consists of a circular sectioned loop, c.7mm wide, which is attached to a circular sectioned loop about 8mm long, which has been welded onto a rectangular plate about 6mm long …

Medieval? copper alloy bar 41mm long and 9mm deep. The object is in good condition with a green/brown patina and weighs 5.83grams. The object consists of a central open circle 8mm in diameter. This is flanked on either side by a bar made up of semi-circular shapes which have splayed terminals. One side appears complete and has two semi-circles which terminate in a straight edge, whilst the other side has one and a half semi-circles. There are small traces of gilding in patches. The object resembles a purse bar or some sort of swivel fitting but I can't find a parallel.

Medieval lead alloy ampulla, Length: 39 mm, width: 29 mm, thickness: 5 mm, weight: 21.84 g. The ampulla is incompleet and has no obvious decoration. It is 'bag' shaped having a rectangular shaped upper section sitting on a rounded section wit a sub rectangular cross section. The upper part is incomplete, damaged to remove the holy water it contained.

This sits above an oval cross sectioned rectangular shaped shaft which has an integral bit. This is rectangular in form and cross section and has a small rectangular depression in the centre of the top and bottom. The end of the shaft has a pointed projection c.5mm long.

Medieval copper alloyspur buckle, 27mm long, 16mmm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 3.15grams. The buckle has a triangular frame which incoporates an integral plate and a trapezoidal loop. This has a wide pin rest which slopes outward and is slightly recessed from the frames projecting knops in each corner. The plate has a circular hole through which the pin is attached and this sits centrally in an area decorated with three transverse ridges. Beyond this is a rounded area with a fixing hole in its centre and a rounded knop at the buckles apex. see eg. 204 and 209 in Whiteheads …
