Roman copper alloy and silver bow brooch, 47mm long, 26mm wide and 19mm thick. The brooch is in a fiiar condition with a dark green patina and weighs 14.48 grams. Thebrooch is missing its spring, pin and most of its catchplate, but its base is 23mm long. The brooch has worn short wings but one has three vertical ridges running down it. The bow tapers and is sub-circular in section. It is decorated with a row of beading or circular depressions running the length of each side. Roman copper-alloy miniature axe. The axe is in good condition with a green patina and weighs 6.71grams. It has a circular-sectioned shaft which is 3.5mm in diameter at its base and 5mm in diameter near the head. The shaft has a decorative terminal formed of a spherical knop below a rounded protruding collar. The axe head, which curves downwards on its upper surface and forms a tapering point on its lower surface, has incised decoration on each side. The fragment has a curved edge and a central raised circle about 10mm in diameter. Post Medieval lead figurine or doll? 45mm high, 30mm wide and 20mm thick. The surviving upper part is in fair condition, although in two pieces and weighs 61 grams (hollow inside is filled with soil). The figurine is that of a lady, her head is detached but she is wearing a multi-layered cap (?)with two ribbons or ties draped over her shoulders. She has a pointed, fringed shawl over her dress which has billowing sleeves and neat cuffs, and her hands are clasped together in front of her.
