Unknown gold object, 17mm long, 8mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 6.65 grams. The object is sub-rectangular in form and section with tapering sides and has a flat sub-rectangular piece of gold plate soldered to it.

Undated copper alloy mount. Length 42mm, width 33mm, thickness 10mm, weight 36.59grams. The object is some sort of mount or decorative fitting in the form of a bunch of grapes and flowers? It is roughly triangular in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of two bunches of grapes sitting on a swag? with two central circular motifs suggesting flowers. The reverse of the object seems to represent two vine leaves, one with a shaft emerging from its base? and has incised 'veins' with a central triangular 'prong'.

It appears to be formed of a sheet that has been folded into a sub-circular section, but it is damaged at this point so can't be confirmed. Its convex section has holes suggesting it is metalworking waste, whilst the conical section could be an object fragment with suggestion of a rim? The object makes up part of an interesting pscatter of Prehistoric and Roman objects so may be of some value.

Undated copper alloy bar, Length: 95 mm, width: 22 mm, thickness: 15 mm, weight: 72.34 g. The bar has a circular cross section and is slightly curved in profile and tapers slightly in width. At each end it has a circular terminal, the narrower end (right as shown) is formed of an integral circular cross sectioned loop, the other is formed by the bar turning in and tucking in under itself, forming a smaller circular hole set at right angles to the other terminal. The object may be a harness fitting or a machine part, no parallels have been found.

Roman or Medieval? copper alloy object, Length: 23 mm, width: 8 mm, thickness: 4 mm, weight: 0.8 g. The object is incomplete and consists of an integral circular suspension loop sitting at the apex of a sub triangular plate. This curves slightly and it may be the top of an elongated medieval harness pendant or perhaps part of Roman toilet implement. The objects surface is very corroded and it is hard to place.

It has a patch of iron staining near one edge, where it also projects upwards the most. The opposite side of this also has a large patch of iron attached. The upper rounded surface appears to be decorated with incised curved lines, possibly concentric circles? Given its locaton the object could be of Roman date, but no pararllels have been identified.

The outer face is divided into two by a central depression with a rounded linear surface which continues down the side with the inner surafce being flat. This suggets two circular sectioned rings joined together. The function of this object is unknwon. It may be a large finger ring? or another type of decorative ring. It could date from the Bronze age onwards.

Undated copper alloy strap fitting, Length: 55 mm, width: 15 mm, thickness: 11 mm, weight: 40.61g. The object is incomplete and is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It consists of a upper bar with an undulating upper surface which curves round at one end then is broken, suggesting an oval shape when intact. The upper surface has a triangular projection at one end then a slight depression followed by a sub rectangular projection with transverse incised lines at each edge. The object appears to be some sort of slide or harness fitting .
