Roman ? copper alloy military mount, 35mm lomg, 23mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 44.83 grams. The object is incomplete and consists of a 'pelta' shaped plate which has two circular sectioned rivets protruding from its reverse. The base of the pelta has a raised rectangular section which joins it to a crescent shaped protrusion which is slightly rounded on its upper surface and slightly hollow on its reverse. This is missing one end and is quite worn. The object is probably a Roman military fitting.

Roman lead alloy figurative object, 19mm long, 20mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a pale brown patina and weighs 4.28grams. The object is sub-triangular in form and is sub rectangular in section. It is slightly curved and is decorated on one side with a human face. The face has a prominant dimpled chin and wide almond eyes. There is a line along the top of the object which may suggest hair.

Roman or Medieval copper alloy mount, 15mm long, 13mm wide and 3.5mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 1.09grams. The object may be part of a buckle plate or a hinged fitting? It consists of two rectangular plates which are joined by a small rectangular sheet which has been folded over so each plate is aligned an dthe small plate can hold a circular sectioned bar of some sort. There are two round holes and one intact circular rivet, centrally placed, in the plates.

A Roman silver peltate mount, slightly damaged and distorted at one side. The ornamental design on the front face, incised in a 'rocked-tracer' technique, comprises a running chevron between perimeter lines. At the point of maximum expansion four of the triangular spaces are filled with a cross motif. The object consists of a rectangular sectioned shaft with a rounded end containing a circular hole. Below this is a slight linear protrusion on one face. 10mm down the shaft it becomes circular and is marked with two raised bands. Below this the object flattens out into a sub oval plate which has incomplete edges.

Roman copper alloy harness mount, 50mm long, 41mm wide and 1.5mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 10grams. The object is incomplete but is formed of a crescentic plate sitting in a rectangular openwork border with semi-circular protrusions either side of its corners. At its lower centre there is a fluer like protrusion and at the centre of the existing side is a kidney shaped border with afluer like motif in its centre. Given the size of the object it is probably a harness mount, rather than an apron fitting.

The object has a circular section, which is 12mm in diameter at its base and is decorated with two circular protrusions, the lower one is 21mm in diameter and 3mm thick. It narrows gently from this point, forming a triangular section. The upper one is 11mm in diameter and the same thickness. The object terminates with a spherical knop 8mm in diameter. The base appears incomplete as though broken off and may have been attached to a lid of some sort?

The object is rectangular and has some damage to its edges, but the decoration is in good condition. It consists of an eagle, depicted in high relief, sitting on a branch with a wreath in its mouth, which faces right. The reverse of the object is plain and contains no signs of any fittings.

Within this is the lions head. There is a distinct border of incised 'mane' 3mm wide. inside this the face is made up of a triangle with the nose sitting at the top and the whiskers near the base. Underneath this the tongue is represented by a small depression, which is flanked by two small circular depressions representing the corners of his mouth. Roman or Post Medieval lead alloy mount, 50mm long and 34mm wide. The object is a 3D representation of a Roman style dolphin. The dolphin has a very prominant upturned 'beak' and its body curves round to form a semi-circle. Its tail is turned back on itself and sits above its body. It has a rounded 'peg' below its head and the upwarding curving tail which would have held it in place. If Post Medieval it may have belonged to a Tobacco jar lid.

Roman? copper alloy mount in the form of an animal, 38mm long and 19mm high. The object appears to be a reclining lion which has a large head and narrow body, which is hollowed out underneath. There are faint traces of rounded ears and a face with flat nose, eye and possibly open mouth. The object is incredibly worn and has a green patina. It appears to roman in style, but this is just a guess.
