Iron Age copper alloy mount, 48mm long, 23mm wide with a weight of 15.3 grams. The object has a green patina and is in good condition with slight damage at the mouth. The object consists of a hollow, slightly conical tube with the animals mouth formed of the narrow end. About a third in there are two eye sockets set close together, one filled with blue/green glass. Behind these there are small rounded ears which stick out each side, just behind the eyes. On each side of the head is a sunken eye, with a bulbous protrusion which may represent a cheek. Iron age or Roman cosmetic mortar, 35mm long, 12mm high and 11mm wide with a weight of 6.1 grams. Most of the object survives and has a slightly curving upper surface which is a U shaped hollow underneath. The centre of the upper side contains the fixing points of a wide suspension loop. One side survives to its original height and is decorated with a row of three chevron stamps along the upper portion of the side. The stamps on the other side, which is broken, are still visible although most of the third is missing. The object is in fair condition and has a greenish/brown patina.

A late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy knobbed terret ring dating to the 1st-2nd century AD. The base of the object has a recess which forms the fixing point, this is about 20mm wide and 10mm in diameter. The collars at each end of the strap bar each have a diameter of 12mm. Iron age or Romano British copper alloy fastener, 40mm long, 21mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 7.15 grams. The object represents the loop portion and is roughly triangular in shape. It has a triangular opening 16mm long and 11mm wide, surrounded by a frame with a square section. Below this the object consists of a shaft 20mm long, that narrows gently. It has snapped off at the end, leaving a small circular bump where the button would have been attached.

Possible Iron age copper alloy strap fitting, 74mm long, 47mm wide and 3.5mm thick. The object is incomplete and has a brown patina. It consists of two pieces of curved metal, which when complete probably formed circles. The metal has D shaped section and is 8mm wide and 3.5mm thick. Where these two pieces join together there is a 'coffee bean' shaped motif, a domed oval with a straight line cut along the centre of its length, 10mm long. It is crescentic in form, being 11mm wide in the centre and tapering to a point at each end, 4mm thick. It has a central void with a curved base to accomodate the 'pestle' and has a central suspension loop, 14mm wide and 4mm in diameter which is missing its upper part. There is no decoration visible.

A varied selection of late iron age and Roman pottery was recovered by fieldwalking from the Hallaton Villa site. Finds included a very large shelly tegula tile, possible imbrex and other building material. Pottery included a Samian cup base (see leic-5F82D4), Nene Valley colour coat, a mancetter Hartshill Mortarium, oxidised colour coats, greyware, shelly wares and grog tempered wares, including iron age material.

Iron age copper alloy terret ring, 44mm wide and 7mm thick. The object represents the lower part of a terret ring and has a good green patina. It consists of a semi-circular 'plate', 20mm wide and 14mm high which is thickest along its straight edge at 5mm. Next is a circular, slightly domed terminal with an incised line along its edge and on the other side of the object is another terminal which is half the size of the first. These are set at right angles to the main ring which starts 7mm in diameter and then arrows towards the smaller terminal. At this point the object has broken.
