Roman copper alloy Wirral type brooch, 69mm long, 2mm wide, 22mm deep and weighing 25 grams. The brooch is intact and consists of a rectangular cross sectioned, circular loop with an oval knop at its upper edge. This sits above a flat edge which is stepped and the lower portion decorated with two rows of triangular stamps. Below this the bow curves and is rectangular in form and cross section. Modern copper alloy Italian fascist youth badge, 3mm thick and 38mm in diameter with a weight of 11.44grams. The badge is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It is missing its pin and central disc on the reverse. The badge shows a left-facing helmeted bust of Benito Mussolini, surrounded by the inscription CREDERE OBBEDIRE COMBATTERE" (Believe Obey Fight) and inscribed "G.I.L." (Gioventù Italiana del Littorio) = Italian Fascist youth. The Reverse is inscribed witha warning - "MODELLO DEPOSITATO / RIPRODVZIONE INTERDETTA" = reproduction forbidden patent pending.

The brooch has solid circular cross sectioned wings which are plain and house a recess for a hinged pin, now missing. The axe consists of a circular cross sectioned shaft which has a rounded terminal with a double incised collar above. Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, hinged brooch, 30mm long, 24mm wide and weighing 9.94g. The broch comprises solid circular cross sectioned wings which have a central recess with a bar for the hinged pin, now mostly missing. Each wing terminal has three linear indentations forming a border and a hollow recess in its end. The bow is circular in cross section and tapers to a point. It has traces of decoration on its shoulder of two intersecting linear grooves, now very faint. The bow also has a rounded projection near its present edge.

Early medieval copper-alloy brooch fragment. Length: 34 mm, width: 20 mm, thickness: 4 mm, weight: 6.21 g. The object comprises the incomplete headplate only, and is probably from a cruciform brooch. The headplate is flat and rectangular, and missing most of its edge; it is decorated with five (two incomplete) ring-and-dot motifs, one centrally placed and the others in each corner.
