Iron age? possible saddle quern grinder c.200mm long, 160mm wide and 68mm thick. (not weighed).
The object is circular in form and eliptical in section with one slightly concave surface and one quite rounded. It is formed of millstone grit and has signs of wear on the rounder surface.

Early Neolithic stone axehead, 72mm long, 43mm wide and 20mm thick. The object is in good condition with a weight of 89.366grams. The axe is complete except for a chip on one side near its butt end. It is produced from a fine grained brown/green stone. It is unfacetted and has a rounded surface which terminates in a very faint ridge down each side, giving it a pointed oval cross-section. It has a gently rounded blade which is intact and still crisp.
The axe appears to be Group VI volcanic tuff, probably making it a product of the Langdale axe factory.

Late Neolithic- early Bronze age stone axe hammer, 107mm long, 84mm wide and 55mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 651grams. The object is ovoid in form and rectangular in section (with one edge being slightly bowed), with a circular hole, 27mm in diameter, cut through the centre of its ovoid face. It has slightly polished surfaces around its pointed tip, suggesting some wear.

Stone perforated object, perhaps aloom weight of probably prehistoric date, the object is incomplete and measures 122mm by 57mm with a thickness of 44mm. The object is has a brown patina and weighs 447grams. It appears to have been formed from a naturally sub rectangular or triangular pebble and has a ground circular hole in its centre which has an hour glass profile.

Undated stone whetstone, 38mm long, 18mm wide and 3 to 7mm wide. The object has a grey patina and weighs 8.60grams. It is rectangular in form and section and has a centrally placed circular suspension hole, 5mm in diameter. The object tapers sharply through prolonged use and has probably snapped during use because it became too thin.

Bronze age Cannel Coal conical button, 17mm in diameter and 7mm deep. The object is in good condition with a dark grey/black patina and weighs 0.96 grams. The button is roughly circular in form and triangular in section. It has a single incised line running across its underside and on either side of this is a hole drilled at an angle so that it meets in the centre, This is known as a V void? The surface of the button has some crazing but is in generally good condition.

Medieval stone spindle whorl, 31-37mm in diameter and 10mm thick. the object is in fair condition with a greyish patina and a weight of 13.20grams. The object has a rectangular setion and a central hole, 8mm in diameter. It is decorated on both sides with incised lines, One side has a zig zag effect whilst the other has random crosses and lines.

Early Medieval? stone spindle whorl, 36mm in diameter and 24mm thick. The object has a creamish patina and is circular in form and oval in cross section. It has a central hole, 10mm in diameter and has rounded edges. It is decorated with a series of inscribed ring and dot marks, 5mm in diameter, running in two lines around its centre.

Neolithic polished stone axe. It is 124mm long and 45mm at its widest part. It is a Langdale type 6 with squared edges and has a diagonally striped grain in the stone. The axe is 22mm wide at its narrowest and widens out to 45mm. It has a sharp dipped angle on one surface, just before its broken edge, here it has a thickness of 22mm. It has two breaking points suggesting it was damaged in the plough soil.

Mesolithic pebble hammer made from a hard orange coloured stone, The hammer has two depressions which are sub triangular in section, one on each side of the pebble which correspond with each other, showing that a hole was being formed. For some reason the object has been discarded before completion.
