Medieval lead alloy papal bulla fragment, 43mm long, 17mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 18.36g.
The object is about half a bulla and is D shaped in form and rectangular in cross section. On one surface it has an image of a bearded man (one of SS. Peter and Paul ) in a pelleted border and on the other a partial inscription over three lines in a pelleted border [..]/[..]IS[[..]V. There is not enough remaining to date it.
