Post Medieval copper alloy barrel tap, 30mm in length, 22mm wide and 20mm thick with a weight of 16.12g.
The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It consists of a damaged short circular tube, which has slight rectangular shaped projections at two opposite sides and a third side has a sub rectangular diagonally positioned projection. This widens and has a slight lip at its rectangular outer surface and its longer surface curves upwards, so that the whole resembles a short hammer head. The object is part of a barrel tap.

Medieval copper alloy barrel tap? the object is 117mm long, 36mm wide and 19mm thick. It is in fair condition and weighs127grams. The object is sub circular in section and sub rectangular in form. Its base is formed of a circular sectioned tube which has a raised collar at its upper end and has a diagonally placed opening at the base, which creates a point (presumably for forcing it into a barrel). Medieval? copper alloy tap, 71mm long and 16mm in diameter. The tap is in a good condition with a greenish patina and weighs 52.18 grams. The object is circular in section and L shaped in form, curving slightly three quarters of the way down its length. It tapers in width slightly from C.10mm to 16mm. Where the object curves it has a square sectioned protrusion/stand which although cast in one piece, is shaped as though its attached to the outside of the tap. Medieval copper alloy decorative tap, 35mm long, 9mm wide and 12mm high. The tap weighs 8.10 grams and has a green patina. It consists of an upright opening 7mm in diameter and 13mm high with a hexagonal outer surface. This sits just off centre in the main shaft which is 4mm in diameter and 35mm long. This section is circular at the far end, 7mm. The other side is 19mm long and turns 45o downwards half way along to form the tap. It is square in section on the inner side, becoming hexagonal when it turns. It is decorated with two protruding lips on the upper surface and one below.
