Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 33mm in diameter and 14mm thick with a weight of 50.53grams. The object is circular in form and bi-conical in cross section. It is decorated on both surfaces with a series of raised circular pellets and a few randomly placed short raised lines. It has a central circular hole 9mm in diameter. Its form fits Walton Rogers type C which she dates to 100AD onwards.

The object is circular in form and bi-conical in cross section. It has a double raised border forming a star shape around its central hole on one side and on the other, rectangular and triangular recesses formed by transverse ridges.

Medieval lead alloy Spindle Whorl, 29mm in diameter, 11mm thick with a weight of 38.60grams. The whorl is circular in form and biconical in cross section with a central hole. c.11mm in diameter. It is decorated on both sides with a series of raised radiating lines interspersed with raised dots.
Walton Rogers from C -recent work by Eleanor Standley suggests a date range of 1200-1500 (Medieval archaeology vol 60, 2016, pp.266-300).
