Early medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, Thickness: 12 mm, diameter: 17 mm, weight: 19.02 grams. The object is circular in form and sub triangular in cross section, with a central circular hole 8-9mm in diameter. The object has a slightly flat upper surface and its sides are uneven but undecorated . It has a slightly rounded linear indentation across both top and bottom. The form fits Walton Rogers class A2 which she dates to 700-1100AD.

Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, Thickness: 8 mm, diameter: 29 mm, internal diameter: 8 mm, weight: 41.14 grams. The whorl is circular in form and bi-conical in cross section, with a central circular hole 8mm in diameter. The whorl has a slight ridge on its outer edge, 3mm wide and different decoration on each face. One face has two rows of slightly raised circular motifs whilst the other has a series of short raised lines transversing it, with a solid raised line running through these around its circumference. The form fits Walton Rogers class C, which she dates to 1100-1500.

It is decorate don its upper surface with a sereis of narrow ridges running outwards from the centre. The form and size of the central hole suggest an early Medeival date. It matches Walton Rogers form A2, which she dates to 700-1100AD

From below it has one clear central circular hole which is flanked by three smaller circular holes to one side. From above the object has a mis-shapen central hole, the surface around this appears to have been flattened? and this is flanked by four smaller holes. It has very steep slightly concave sides, with a central projecting ridge. It is decorated with a series of raised chevrons forming a star pattern near the centre, interspersed with dots and further chevrons.

Early Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 29mm in diameter, 7mm wide and weighing 42.99grams. The whorl has a circular form with a central circular hole, it has a sub rectangular cross section and has different decoration on each face. One side has a clear raised internal and external border with a central depression housing 8 semi-spherical projections. The other side has a narrow linear recess with a sereis of 8? sub triangular depressions inside. There is also a trace of a linear depression along the side of the object. Its form could suggest an early medieval date of 900-1100.
