Early Medieval or Medieval? lead alloy spindle whorl or weight, 26mm in length, 20mm wide and 10mm thick with a weight of 36.28grams. The object is miss shapen and has an almost rectangular form. It has a central circular hole, 7mm in diameter and a cross section with is sub rectangular .
If this is a whorl, it is damaged but would fit Walton Rogers class B.
