Post medieval lead alloy 3 part? bag seal, Length: 24 mm, width: 20 mm, thickness: 4 mm, weight: 6.05 g. The object is sub circular in form and sub rectangular in cross section. It is in complete but mostof a flat circular plate survives, which has a smaller circular projection in its centre, c9mm in diameter. On this section are traces of a 'Tudor' rose motif. Given the design it could be a 17th century Colchester seal (see LON-5356D0), or be a more generic seal dating to the reigns of Charles II, James II, or William III, see BERK-0C6679 and SUSS-75A718.
