Roman copper alloy finger ring, 19mm in length, 13mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 4.01grams. The ring is missing most of its loop and has an oval shaped bezel with a sub rectangular cross section. This has a raised lip which surrounds a concave surface containing three sub-crescentric recesses which have possible traces of red enamel. The form of the ring conforms to Henig type 1, Guiraud type 1b/2a. The decoration is unusual but is of a similar style to KENT-EB629B

Roman copper alloy finger ring, 22mm in diameter, 2mm thick with a weight of 2.67grams. The ring is complete except for an oval bezel with raised sides c.4mm high, which is now empty. This is decorated on its long sides with 2 deep vertical grooves in the centre. The bezel is attached to the hoop byprojecting triangular shaped shoulders with concave surfaces. The hoop has a triangular cross section, its apex forming a central ridge on the outer surface starting at the shoulders. Its width tapering slightly towards the base of the hoop. Roman silver finger ring fragment, 18mm long, 4mm wide and 2mm thick (hoop) with a weight of 2.48grams. The ring comprises the bezel and 'shoulder' fragment of the hoop. The bezel is oval in form (11mm long, 9mm wide and 6mm high) and rectangular in cross section. When viewed from the side, where it attaches to the hoop, it has a trapezoidal cross section, flaring outwards to the upper edge. Roman copper alloy key finger ring, Thickness: 2 mm, diameter: 22 mm, weight: 9.64 grams. The ring consists of a rectangular cross sectioned loop which houses a rectangular bezel, 19 x 19 mm, attached to the loop by a short circular sectioned shaft. The bezel which curves to match the loops profile, has two small rectangular cut outs forming a U-shaped plate. The ring matches Guiraud type 5, similar to e.g. 2169 in Crummy, N. Roman copper alloy intaglio finger ring, Length: 19 mm, width: 11 mm, thickness: 3 mm, weight: 1.66 grams. The object is incomplete, missing its lower loop. It has an oval shaped bezel , tapering into the loop. The bezel has an oval raised area which has two small rounded projections, with a small circular depression in between, positioned towards the shoulders, at each side. Beyond this there are two a very slight transverse ridges. Inside the raised area area is a blue glass? oval intaglio, with no obvious decoration. The overall form matches Henig type XII.

It has no marks or decoration. Dora Thornton and Judy Rudhoe of the Brotish Museum have confirmed the ring is undiagnostic and therefore cannot be processed as a Treasure find.

Its bezel is formed of a slight widening out of the broad loop to accomodate a circular shaped projection. The ring appears to be made from copper alloy with a silvered surface or extremely base silver. Henig Type VIII. length : 20 mm, width: 10 mm, thickness: 9.0 mm (at bezel), weight: 3.66 g.

The outer face is divided into two by a central depression with a rounded linear surface which continues down the side with the inner surafce being flat. This suggets two circular sectioned rings joined together. The function of this object is unknwon. It may be a large finger ring? or another type of decorative ring. It could date from the Bronze age onwards.
