Post medieval copper alloy belt mount. 26mm long, 8mm wide and 11mm thick with a weight of 4.11 grams. The object is sub rectangular in form, with an urn like shape and rectangular in cross section. It has a flat short end from which curved, expanding sides emerge. These bulge out before retracting and it terminates with a far end formed of two rounded projections sitting either side of a curved edge. It is decorated with incised lines radiating from its centre, creating a foliate motif and its reverse has two rectangular cross-sectioned attachment prongs which are folded over.
