Medieval copper alloy enamelled mount, 15mm thick and 28mm in diameter with a weight of 16.32g.
The mount is circular in form and sub rectangular in cross section. It has a slightly domed upper surface and its reverse has a centrally placed, circular cross sectioned shaft. The object is decorated with a field of yellow enamel which has a a thin red cross quartering it. each arm of this has two slightly rounded projections, also in red enamel, close to the edge. The object is probably a harness mount.

Medieval copper alloy pendant or mount, 24mm in length, 16mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 3.23g.
The object is rectangular in form and cross section with an integral circular suspension loop at the top and a possible incomplete one or a partial hinge mechanism at the bottom. The flat plate is decorated with a circle containing a dog or a lion? which is depicted walking left with its tail filling the field above its back. The whole of the surface contains traces of gilding.

The object consists of an oval shaped mount which has a rectangular projection with a central rectangular hole. This has been folded over to form a hinge mechanism. The plate itself has two circular fixing holes, one above the other, centrally placed.

The object consists of a circular mount with a circular cross sectioned attachment prong emerging from the edge of its reverse. Below this the object is rectangular in form and its lower half is folded over itself and has a central rectangular hole to accomodate the pendant. The object is in poor condition, but no decoration is visible.

The object consists of a semi-spherical hollow mount with a circular cross sectioned attachment prong emerging from the centre of its reverse. Below this the object is rectangular in form and its lower half is folded over itself and has a central rectangular hole to accomodate the pendant. The object is undecorated but has patches of gilding across its surface.

Above the hole is a rectangular projection with a rectangular cut out which has been folded over to form a 'hinge'. The object is heavily gilded on one surface. It is probably part of a decorative fitting or edging, perhaps harness or book related.

Anglo-Scandinavian harness mount or pendant, 27mm long 24mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 4.54grams. The object is incomplete and consists of a broken rectangular suspension loop, below which is a rounded oval shaped protrusion suggesting an animal head. This sits in the centre of a triangular shaped fragment, suggesting the object may be lozenge shaped when complete. At either side of this 'head' are sub-circular holes, which are only completed by very thin strips of metal which join a central T shaped lower section, sitting below the 'head'.

Medieval shield shaped copper alloy mount, probably from harness. The mount is decorated with an upper cross hatched band which has traces of red enamel. The field below contains three ermine motifs. 20mm long, 17mm wide, with a 3mm thick body and the protruding shaft is 17mm long.
The arms have been kindly identified by Kev Woodward as possibly those of Henry Ribbesford(e), Ermine, a chief gules fretty Or. The arms are listed under Leicestershire in the Parliamentary roll (c.1312).
