Medieval copper alloy harness mount, dating to 1300-1500AD , Length: 31 mm, width: 20 mm, thickness: 2 mm, weight: 3.08 g. The object is crucifom and has a sub rectangular cross section. each of the plain rectangular, triangular cross sectioned arms has a rounded, domed projection. The fourth has an integral suspension loop with a circular hole above it. The object is very similar to an example in 'The Medieval horse and its equipment' , p. 67, fig. 50

Medieval copper alloy harness pendant suspension fitting. 17mm in length, 8mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 2.21grams. The object consists of a circular mount with a circular cross sectioned attachment prong emerging from the edge of its reverse. Below this the object is rectangular in form and its lower half is folded over itself and has a central rectangular hole to accomodate the pendant. The object is in poor condition, but no decoration is visible.
