Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy Le Tene variant brooch. 42mm in length, 12mm wide and 5mm thick with a weight of 3.07grams. The object has half of a coiled spring at its head and has a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned bow. This is curved and has a chevron collar at its shoulder. It continues with no decoration to a chunky rectangular shaped catch plate.

Roman copper alloy disc brooch, 21mm in length, 17mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 3.49grams. The brooch is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It is almost complete, missing its pin, but damaged and is decorated with a central raised circle surrounded by a swagged border with six raised roundels attached. Roman copper alloy headstud brooch, The brooch has very short rectangular shaped circular cross sectioned wings with a central recess to hold the hinged pin, now missing. Its bow is sub rectangular in cross section and is decorated with a raised circular 'stud' sitting above a raised linear band flanked by a linear recess. The brooch has a stepped foot, now bent, and behind. It is 44mm long, 12 mm wide, 4mm in thickness and weighs 8.28 g. It has a damaged triangular catchplate.

late Iron Age to Early Roman (AD 20-70) Colchester one-piece bow brooch, 54mm in length, 4mm thick with a weight of 9.56grams. The bow is sub circular in cross section and curved. It has the remains of an openwork catch plate taking up one third of its length. It has small rectangular shaped open wings and the centre of these house an incomplete wire loop. A similar Colchester brooch is illustrated by Hattatt R. (2007), Fig. 155, no. 250.

It consists of circular cross sectioned hollow? wings which house a central recess for the pin. The bow is D shaped in cross section, with a pronounced swelling where it joins the wings. Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch, 57mm long, 15mm wide and 8mm thick (at bow). The brooch is worn and complete apart from the pin. It has a circular head with a semi-circular supsension loop on its flat underside. The upper bow is circular in cross section and is plain except for the mould acunthus scroll at its shoulder which is flanked by a semi-circular depression on each side. Below this the bow is D shaped and tapers to a rounded foot. The remains of a catchplate are present on the flat reverse of this.

Roman copper alloy P shaped bow brooch, 51mm long and 24mm wide at the bow, with a weight of 15.54grams. The brooch is in good condition and complete except for the pin. It has plain circular sectioned solid wings from which emerges a curved rectangular cross sectioned bow. This is decorated with three parallel depressions running its length to a stepped terminal with a slight projection. Below this is an intact triangular shaped catchplate with curved return to hold the pin. The brooch is similar to e.g. 492, fig.225 in Hattat, R. 'A visual catalogue of Ancient Brooches'.
