A copper alloy Roman Radiate of Carausius, AD 286-93 (Reece Period 14), possibly [VIRTVT](I AVG); Possibly Hercules standing right, holding bow in left hand and spear / sceptre in left; ?club between body and spear / sceptre. Probably unattributed mint. There is a VIRTVTI AVG piece with Hercules holding a club and bow, but not a sceptre / spear (RIC V 1057). This coin might be a new variety.
