Late Medieval to early Post Medieval lead alloy button, 24mm in diameter, 9mm thick with a weight of 13.09grams. The button is circular in form and slight D shaped cross section. It had a flat underside with a clear casting seam containing an integral circular fixing loop (now damaged). Its surface has a raised border of small domed circles and inside this is a flower like motif formed of a central knop and six radiating 'petals' in between these are six domed circle in pellet motifs.

The whorl is plain apart from a slight raised border at its widest point and has a central circular hole 10mm in diameter. The whorl fits Walton Rogers form C which she dates to 1100-1500AD.

The object has an openwork spherical form consisting of four rope like shafts, two are positioned very close together, which converge at its apex. a short shaft projects into the centre of the sphere and has a collar and pointed terminal. Late Medieval or early post Medieval lead alloy button, 1400-1700. diameter: 27 mm, thickness 19mm, weight: 25.57 g. The button is circular in form with a D shaped cross section. Its domed upper surface is decorated with a voided raised cross and a central semi-spherical boss. Each quarter has two raised arches. It has traces of iron loop in the centre of its underside. The button is similar BUC-415532 but without lead loop. The lack of parallels for an iron loop would suggest this is a repair.

Medieval lead alloy ampulla, 55mm long, 32mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 49.65grams. It is a bag shaped ampulla with a sub rectangular upper half with small triangular shaped suspension loops at each side, below which it becomes circular in form. This lower part is decorated with a raised scallop shell motif on one side and on the other a raised outline of a crescent motif. The object is damaged with a tear running along its middle at an angle which has taken off the second side suspension loop.
