It is very worn/mis-cast and has a raised design of a shield outline with a central inscription of IHS? in each corner, outside the shield motif, are two or three raised semi-spheres. Given the inscription and design the object is likely to be Medieval, but could be later.

Medieval lead alloy papal bulla fragment, 43mm long, 17mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 18.36g. The object is about half a bulla and is D shaped in form and rectangular in cross section. On one surface it has an image of a bearded man (one of SS. Peter and Paul ) in a pelleted border and on the other a partial inscription over three lines in a pelleted border [..]/[..]IS[[..]V. There is not enough remaining to date it.

The object is undated but may be of Medieval or Post Medieval date and could be a plumb bob or suspended weight. It is conical in form and circular in cross section, tapering to a flat narrow upper surface. It has a small circular shaped hole running through it lengthways. This object was found at the same location as other lead objects, LEIC-85A837 and LEIC-85C092 suggesting it may have been collected for metal working.

Late Medieval to early Post Medieval lead alloy button, 24mm in diameter, 9mm thick with a weight of 13.09grams. The button is circular in form and slight D shaped cross section. It had a flat underside with a clear casting seam containing an integral circular fixing loop (now damaged). Its surface has a raised border of small domed circles and inside this is a flower like motif formed of a central knop and six radiating 'petals' in between these are six domed circle in pellet motifs.
