Medieval? copper alloy strap end, 50mm long, 33mm wide and 7mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 11.22grams. The object is rectangular in form and section with a small rectangular protrusion at one short end. It is made up of two plates, the front plate having central rectangular cut out, so it resembles a frame. This is decorated with raised zig-zag lines possibly set in a linear border. The small protrusion has raised linear decoration forming a rectangular box. The centre of the object holds a copper alloy rivet, suggesting that something was fitted into the void.…

Medieval copper alloy 'fob' seal matrix 20mm in diameter and 18mm long. The object is in fair condition and weighs 6.56grams. The object consists of a circular suspension loop sitting above a hexagonal sectioned shaft which widens out into a circular base which holds the matrix. The matrix is worn and dirty but appears to have a central 'Fluer de Lis' motif and an inscription which may read +S' --OEVOROS.
