Late Medieval copper alloy vessel spout in the form of a dog, 60mm long and 41mm high and c. 13.5mm thick. The object is circular in cross section and is hollow. At one end it forms an angular dogs head. This has an open mouth from which the circular spout protrudes. The dog's head is formed of moulded decoration, and has rounded ears, a squared brow and eyes. At the opposite end the spout curves through ninety degrees downwards and expands into a long open neck where it would have attached to the vessel. Post Medieval silver gilt dress hook, 28mm long, 19mm wide and 7mm thick with a weight of 5.23grams. The object is complete and consists of a sexfoil shaped plate. A circular sectioned shaft is soldered onto one edge of the reverse of the plate and this is folded back on itself and terminates in a sharp point. This sits below a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned plate, also soldered on, across the upper portion of the object. It consists of an integral circular suspension loop sitting above a raised collar at the apex of a hexagonal cross szectioned shaft whioch tapers out to form a circular flat base. It consists of a rectangular cross sectioned shaft whose upper edge turns up at a diagonal and tapers to a rounded point. Roman silver intaglio finger ring 28mm in width, 24mm deep and 12mm thick at the bezel. The object is in fair condition and weighs 13.49grams. The ring has a circular hoop with an oval cross-section. This is narrow at the bottom and expands and swells to form a flattened bezel which is set with an oval Intaglio, made from a stone? with a white body and an orange surface. The intaglio shows a standing figure with something held in one hand. The form of the ring fits Giurauds type 2c (Henig type II?). which have been dated to 1st and 2nd Centuries.
