Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 20mm long, 15mm in diamater with a weight of 5.16g The matrix has a very worn hexagonal cross sectioned short shaft with a now incomplete suspension loop and roudned collar at its apex. Thsi widens out to house a circular matrix. This is also worn and appears to show a goose or other water fowl with large feet. The inscription is worn and missing in places.

Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 1200-1400. Hexagonal cross sectioned tapering shaft which terminates in an integral suspension loop. The shaft flares out to accommodate a flat circular matrix surface. This is decorated with a Fleur motif and the inscription reads NRIVESV* ? Length: 20 mm, diameter: 17 mm, weight: 6.50 g.

Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 1200-1400AD. The object is incomplete and has an hexagonal cross section shaft, missing its upper half, which widens to accommodate a circular matrix at its base. This shows a central cross with long shaft terminating in a chevron at its base. Above this, across the centre, are the letters IHC (for Christ) with a scroll emerging from either side of the shaft above this. The inscription reads ESTAMORMEVS Length: 11 mm, diameter: 19 mm, weight: 5.56 grams.

Post Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 27mm long, 20mm wide and 17mm thick with a weight of 10.15 grams. The object is T shaped and is circular in cross section. It consists of an integral circular suspension loop sitting above a raised collar at the apex of a hexagonal cross szectioned shaft whioch tapers out to form a circular flat base. This is engraved with a six 'peta'l motif arranged around a solid plain circle. Copper alloy Medieval seal matrix. At the apex is a collar followed by a trefoil suspension loop. Beneath the moulded collar the body is six-sided, flaring inwards slightly, then abruptly outwards towards the circular base. It is highly corroded and the motif and any inscription are now unclear. The matrix is likely to date to the late thirteenth or fourteenth century. The object consists of a circular suspension loop sitting above a hexagonal sectioned shaft which widens out into a circular base which holds the matrix. The matrix is worn and dirty but appears to have a central 'Fluer de Lis' motif and an inscription which may read +S' --OEVOROS.

It has a tapering ridge down the centre of its reverse surface with an integral circular loop at the thicker (upper) end. The matrix shows a bird feeding three chicks in a nest in a tree. Inscribed +SVM PELLICANVS R.

Medieval lead seal matrix, 31mm in diameter and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 13.96grams. It is circular in form and rectangular in section with a rounded knop at one edge. From below the knop emerges a raised trefoil linear design formed of coiled tendrils (double in the centre)which terminate in knops. The seal consists of an 8 pointed star made of corn ears and spikes. There is a long inscription present but it is patchy and worn.

The object consists of a circular loop with a circular section, which widens towards the base. The object terminates at one end with a sub triangular knop and the other has an oval disc attached by a small triangular shaft. The surface of the disc is worn but it may have held some sort of seal?
