Post Medieval silver gilt dress hook, 28mm long, 19mm wide and 7mm thick with a weight of 5.23grams. The object is complete and consists of a sexfoil shaped plate. A circular sectioned shaft is soldered onto one edge of the reverse of the plate and this is folded back on itself and terminates in a sharp point. This sits below a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned plate, also soldered on, across the upper portion of the object.
