Early Medieval copper alloy gilded mount, c. 28mm long and 32mm wide.
The object is in poor condition with an irregular edge and is sub triangular in form and rectangular in cross section. It appears to be incomplete probably broken across its narrower straight edge. From there the objects sides widen outwards and terminate in a curved outer edge, giving it an axe shape. It is decorated all over with style II interlace, formed of three bands and heavily knotted. It has patches of a solid gilded border along two edges. Its reverse houses three short, circular cross sectioned prongs …

Medieval copper alloy mount or buckle fragment? 35mm long, 14mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 4.73g.
The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has one curved long edge and a rounded, flattish terminal at each end, one appears complete but the other has an obvious break. In its centre the object has a curved outer edge and has a slightly rounded upper surface which appears plain.
The object may be a mount of some sort or an irregularly damaged buckle frame?

Post Medieval copper alloy mount, 43mm long, 34mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 15.86g.
The object is rectangular in forma nd cross section and is openwork. At its centre is a gilded cherub with three irregular holes at each side. Above and below it are double swags which extend over a solid vertical frame. It terminates with a point at its base. The whole object has swirling decoration with patches of gilding and the reverse houses two fixing prongs, one at the top and one at the bottom.

Medieval copper alloy dog-headed mount, 33mm in length, 15mm wide, with a weight of 12.92g.
The object consists of a 3-dimensional dog's head which has a barrel shaped snout with projecting tongue, a slightly wider head with incisions representing eyes and triangular ears emerging from the top. Behind it has a sub rectangular shaped and cross sectioned neck which flattens and then divides, projecting at a diagonal. At this point it has snapped but appears to be forming an inner circular/semi-circular void with a frame around?

The object is circular in form and has a slightly domed cross section. It is decorated with the royal coat of arms surmounted by a crown and flanked by the lion and the unicorn. It has fields of blue and red enamel and has patches of gilding surviving all over its surface. The object is probably part of an officials regalia and is probably Georgian in date.

The object is triangular in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of a domed, hollow openwork body decorated with a raised triskele motif, formed of three interlaced triangles with a central triangular void. Post Medieval copper alloy belt mount, 52mm in length, 23mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 10.31grams.
The mount is oval in form and sub rectangular in cross section. It consists of a slightly convex oval plate which has a faint foliate pattern all over it. It has a small sub circular fixing loop at one edge and a D cross sectioned attachment loop at the other. The reverse side has traces of possible iron or leather still attached to it.

The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section and appears complete. It has a sub triangular terminal which sits above a rounded section with a circular hole in its centre. Behind this it is slightly waisted and then has a long plain rectangular shaft with a slightly rounded upper surface and lipped short ends. The object terminates with two rounded flat lobes projecting at angles. The object is probably a book mount or similar.

The object is in complete and has a rectangular shape and triangular cross section. It consists of three rounded flat projections at cardinal points, the fourth edge is broken. These flank a pyramid shaped solid centre. This has traces of recessed lines running from each corner to its apex. The form and patina suggest a late early Medieval date and it is possibly part of a harness/belt fitting?

Iron age copper alloy mount. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of two circular framed recesses which just butt up against one another in the centre of the object. The reverse of these is flat with a hole in the centre? These two circles are joined above and below by two U shaped, circular cross sectioned shafts. The object is probably a sliding harness mount or a componenet of a large mount.
