Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch, 37mm long, 13mm wide and 10mm thick with a weight of 5.63g. The brooch is missing all of its lower half and its spring and pin. It has an oval head plate, housing a rectangular recess for the spring and above this is a semi-circular projecting loop. The bow is D shaped in cross section and emerges from the centre of the head plate. It is decorated with a raised chevron motif near its top and it has raised collars, arranged in three groups with the largest in the centre, at its shoulder.

Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch. 32mm in length and 15mm in width. It weighs 3.09g. The brooch has a roughly oval shaped head with a flat area behind to house a spring, now missing. The circular cross sectioned bow emerges from the front of the head and curves around, tapering in width. Below the point it has curved is a stylised 'acanthus scroll' decoration consisting of three rounded projections, the central one larger. Below this the plain bow continues to taper and has broken before the catch plate emerges.
