The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has one curved long edge and a rounded, flattish terminal at each end, one appears complete but the other has an obvious break. In its centre the object has a curved outer edge and has a slightly rounded upper surface which appears plain.

Medieval copper alloy buckle plate, 33mm in length, 21mm wide, 4mm thick, with a weight of 51.42g.
The object si rectangular in form and cross section and consists of a flat plate, with a pinched collar close to one edge (right as shown). Beyond this the object forms a sub rectangular plate with a central circular hole, sitting just behind a slight central recess. On the other side of the collar the object has two raised transverse ridges and behind this is decorated with six incised lines with a few shorted diagonal ones crossing them. At the far end it is damaged but has one complete and one incomplete circular fixing holes.
The object is part of a Late Medieval lyre type buckle with integral plate.

The object is shield shaped (sub triangular) and rectangular in cross section. It is very worn/mis-cast and has a raised design of a shield outline with a central inscription of IHS? in each corner, outside the shield motif, are two or three raised semi-spheres.

Medieval copper alloy dog-headed mount, 33mm in length, 15mm wide, with a weight of 12.92g.
The object consists of a 3-dimensional dog's head which has a barrel shaped snout with projecting tongue, a slightly wider head with incisions representing eyes and triangular ears emerging from the top. Behind it has a sub rectangular shaped and cross sectioned neck which flattens and then divides, projecting at a diagonal. At this point it has snapped but appears to be forming an inner circular/semi-circular void with a frame around?

Medieval copper alloy harness pendant, 39mm in length, 24mm wide, 7mm thick with a weight of 7.19g.
The pendant is scutiform (rectangular upper portion, triangular lower) and has an incomplete transverse suspension loop in the centre of its upper surface. It is decorated with a rampant lion with a probable bend sinister behind.
It is similar to an example in Museum of London Medieval catalogue, type I, 2a.

The object is most likely a fitting for a spur strap but could also be a book strap fitting.
