The object consists of a short hexagonal tapering shaft with a double collar sitting below a large integral suspension loop, which is filled with iron corrosion. The shaft terminates in a shield shaped matrix, 13 x 14mm. This depicts Mary suckling Jesus, its edges are worn so the inscription is hard to read, possibly reads RO----EDIV The form is similar to SF-79CCC7 LEIC-55B0CC SUR-EA3B3B, though none of these have a religious image.

The matrix surface has a seven 'petalled' flower like motif in a solid border which is surrounded by an inscription which is too worn to read. matrices of this form tend to date to the 13th century.

The object has a short circular cross sectioned tapering shaft with an integral suspension loop and raised collar at its apex. The shaft widens to form a circular matrix, which is engraved with a probable bird with outstreched wings. No inscription is evident.

Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 21mm long, 17mm in diameter and weighing 7.40g. The object is conical in form with a circular die. It has a hexagonal shaft with terminates with a double raised collar and an incomplete circular suspension loop at its apex. The matrix shows a stylised lion rampant facing right within a beaded border. The surrounding inscription is difficult to read due to wear and damage, but Malcolm Jones has kindly identified the legend as SVM LEO FORTIS (I am a strong lion). 14th century.

The matrix depicts a stag moving left with large antler and this is surrounded by a beaded border and inscription. This is partially missing due to wear. It may read S'WIL[....]W[...]OVG OOO
