Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch, 37mm long, 13mm wide and 10mm thick with a weight of 5.63g. The brooch is missing all of its lower half and its spring and pin. It has an oval head plate, housing a rectangular recess for the spring and above this is a semi-circular projecting loop. The bow is D shaped in cross section and emerges from the centre of the head plate. It is decorated with a raised chevron motif near its top and it has raised collars, arranged in three groups with the largest in the centre, at its shoulder.

Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch. 32mm in length and 15mm in width. It weighs 3.09g. The brooch has a roughly oval shaped head with a flat area behind to house a spring, now missing. The circular cross sectioned bow emerges from the front of the head and curves around, tapering in width. Below the point it has curved is a stylised 'acanthus scroll' decoration consisting of three rounded projections, the central one larger. Below this the plain bow continues to taper and has broken before the catch plate emerges.

This has very crisp decoration in the form of two vertical rows of incised dots flanking a central saltaire. The rounded, arched bow also has the same incised border down each edge. Roman copper alloy umbonate plate brooch, 34mm in length, 26mm wide, 7mm thick with a weight of 4.78g. The brooch is circular in form with a D shaped cross section. It is missing most of its flat outer border but has part of a suspension loop projecting at one end and a very worn catch plate projection opposite this. It is formed of a hollow domed plate which is decorated with a series of elongated triangular enamel cells, converging at the apex of the dome. These are filled with alternate blue and yellow enamel. The flat outer border has traces of tinning/silvering.

Roman copper alloy Polden hill type bow brooch, 27mm long, 22mm wide and 10mm thick with a weight of 7.43g. The brooch has hollow semi-circular cross sectioned wings sitting on a rectangular shaped, semi-circular cross sectioned platform from which emerges a semi-circular cross sectioned bow. This is decorated with a double incised elongated triangular motif covering the upper half of the bow. The brooch is missing its foot and its spring.

Late Iron age - early Roman copper alloy bow brooch, 56mm long, 15mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 20.31g. The brooch has a triangular cross sectioned curved bow which terminates in a plain head with a semi-circular plate protruding from the centre with two circular holes to hold a spring, now missing. One hole is filled with iron. The bow has a prominent ridge, is plain and tapers in width to a flat base plate, whose reverse houses a rectangular catch plate. Late Iron age to early Roman copper alloy Le Tene III bow brooch, 37mm in length, 9mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 2.98grams. The brooch is intact except for its pin. It consists of a circular cross sectioned curved bow which gradually widens and becomes sub rectangular in cross section towards its base to accommodate a very shallow catch plate. At its head it is a spring of four coils attached by a fold under the bow.

Roman copper alloy Hod Hill, without side lugs brooch, 23mm long, 13mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 1.51g. The brooch is incomplete, representing the upper half of the brooch and is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has an inverted triangular upper section with a central rectangular recess in its upper edge to house the now missing pin. Below it widens out to form 'shoulders' and then gently tapers in width and curves, with three slight linear recesses at decoration. It is missing its foot and catch plate.
