Roman copper alloy gilded plate brooch, 19mm in length, 12mm wide, with a weight of 2.84grams. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It has a gilded outer border decorated with a row of raised X motifs in a tight row, which is heavily gilded but incomplete. The inside has a damaged raised oval border and a recess which would have housed a stone. The reverse has the remains of a long sub rectangular catch plate and a corresponding semi-circular pin lug. The brooch is similar to NLM-E9BD1B, LIN-BD2A26 and OXON-8ECB45.

Late Medieval to early Post Medieval lead alloy button, 24mm in diameter, 9mm thick with a weight of 13.09grams. The button is circular in form and slight D shaped cross section. It had a flat underside with a clear casting seam containing an integral circular fixing loop (now damaged). Its surface has a raised border of small domed circles and inside this is a flower like motif formed of a central knop and six radiating 'petals' in between these are six domed circle in pellet motifs.

The object is in the form of a naked male torso, missing its head and arms and its feet and with a slightly swollen stomach and long legs. It is gilded in patches suggesting it was once gilded entirely. The position of the legs, suggesting one foot is resting on the other, the elongated V shaped recess in the figures upper back and the irregular rectangular shaped prong slightly lower down on the back, all suggest it to be a representation of Jesus from a crucifix.

It is stamped on both sides with four round depressions arranged in a square. One side also has a central circular depression with a raised circle in its centre and flanked by waffle decoration formed of a series of crossing raised lines. The weight corresponds to 4 ounces which is probably indicated by the four circles, it is similar to a weight recorded here SUSS-813B58 and described as a dress weight.

Post Medieval copper alloy barrel tap, 30mm in length, 22mm wide and 20mm thick with a weight of 16.12g. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It consists of a damaged short circular tube, which has slight rectangular shaped projections at two opposite sides and a third side has a sub rectangular diagonally positioned projection. This widens and has a slight lip at its rectangular outer surface and its longer surface curves upwards, so that the whole resembles a short hammer head. The object is part of a barrel tap.

The object is circular in form and rectangular in cross section with a rectangular cross sectioned lip around its upper edge. Inside this lip the object has a circular depression c.6mm in diameter and is stamped with an Adverpois (A), a sword in St Georges crest, a ewer and a crowned W. It weighs just under 1 ounce, which was issued as a new weight standard from 1826. This one is from the reign of William IV, dating it to 1830-7.

Post Medieval copper alloy buckle, 24mm in length, 24mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 3.58g. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and is one half of double looped buckle. It has a trapezoidal frame which has rounded projections at each corner and at each end of the central pin bar. Its wider outer edge has an incised line running centrally down the frame and this has a centrally placed short line, projecting out at a right angle onto a central triangular projection which acts as a pin rest. The buckle matches e.g.s. 523-25, P.84 in Whitehead, R. Buckles 1250-1850.

Two post Medieval copper alloy buckles, The larger intact buckle measures 51mm in length, 31mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 10.78grams. The smaller fragment measures 30mm in length, 28mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 5.54grams Both are double looped and of an openwork form, with a series of slightly raised dots forming a border. The intact one has a series of four large and four small holes in its frame. They are both very similar and possibly the same date as the series of rectangular shoe buckles illustrated in Whitehead, R. 'Buckles' p. 80 and 85.
