The token is very worn, but one side shows a shield divided into six rectangles with an image in three of them, possibly a dog/lion? and is inscribed SEL...A. The other has a raised circle a wreath? and is inscribed N...O. its similar to LEIC-34F352 made for Billesdon, Leics. but the shield differs slightly..

It is decorated with a raised motif of a six petalled in a raised double border on each side. This is a very common motif on tokens from 1400-1800 but this example is very well produced and larger than usual.

Medieval to post medieval lead alloy boy bishop token, 15mm in diameter with a weight of 2.12grams. The obverse depicts a mitre in a solid border with an inscription. The reverse has a long cross and pellets in each quarter with an incription mimicking a sterling penny. During medieval winter solistices it became a Christian tradition for each town to elect a Boy Bishop whom was paraded around on processions. In the processions, lead tokens were handed out to the crowd to celebrate the event. This is based on the Roman celebration 'Feast of Saturnalia' which was where society …

It has decoration on one side consisting of a raised cross with two raised chevrons in each quarter. The larger one is 27mm in diameter, 3mm thick and weighs 8.38g. It is decorated on both sides, one has a large relief six petalled flower motif and the other has a W or overlapping chevron with a small circle, positioned just to the right of its upper centre.

The token advertsies Loughborough atheletic/cycling and cricket ground, which was situated behind the Greyhound. Its Leicestershire's oldest, opened in 1862. The ground later became the home of Loughborough Town FC. Their greatest achievement was beating Arsenal 8-0 in 1896.

It depicts a crude representation of a fully dressed male and partially dressed female performing a sexual act. It has been roughly cast and has a plain flat reverse, the loop is slightly damaged.
