Medieval copper alloy harness hook, 66mm long, 11mm wide and thick and weighing 19.78grams. The object consists of a circular cross-sectioned 'conical' terminal which has a zoomorphic head, suggestive of a dog. Protruding from the base of the terminal is a circular cross-sectioned shaft which tapers slightly in width and becomes flatter. This has a slight bend to it, other examples found have the shaft formed into a hook. A similar example, with gilding was found in Gilmorton, Leics. see LEIC-B07231. A possible Post Medieval copper alloy strap end or hooked clasp, 28mm long, 14mm wide and 0.5mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 1.35 grams. The object consists of a sub triangular plate which has two rounded protrusions on its upper edge, giving it an overall 'heart' shape. At this point there is one circuler sectioned rivet in the centre of one of the curves and a hole, where a second seems to have broken off, in the other. At the base of the object, also on its reverse, is a small rectangular protrusion which may be a fixing lug. Here the object appears to be broke…

Roman copper alloy oval plate brooch, 36mm long, 28mm wide and 5mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 14.01grams. The brooch consists of a flat oval plate, which has a border made up of at least 3 concentric bands of decoration, some of which is gilded. The centre of the brooch is missing leaving an oval shaped void. The reverse contains traces of a catchplate and sping lug.
