Undated gold disc, 18mm in diameter and 13mm thick. The disc weighs 3.24 grams and is in poor condition. It may be a damaged coin but there are no traces at all of any decoration? its rough surface may suggest its a casting?

Undated copper alloy? mount, 47mm long, 20mm wide and 10mm thick. The object has a dark brown patina, is in fair condition and weighs 26.5grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and section and is slightly curved. At each end it is decorated on the upper surface rectilinear 'ear' like projections and with circular 'eyes' on each side. In the centre of the upper surface is a small circular depression which corresponds to a circular projection on the underside, which appears to have a copper alloy rivet set into it. Its upper domed surface has a series of stamped or incised motifs in the form of a loop with crossed over ends (fish shaped?) and one large chevron shaped incision to one side.

Roman copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill (Mackreth Group 4, flat wing ends), Mackreth 2011, 4.a-4.b, 4c, Plate 46. The brooch appears to be plain and is missing its spring and catchplate, despite damage to its wings and some pitting, has a good surface patina. The wings are short and their edges have worn away. The bow is plain and has a semi-circular section and tapers to a point.It is 39mm long, 16mm wide and 12mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 7.14grams.
