Medieval copper alloy two piece strap end, 36mm long, 8mm wide, and 4mm thick, and weighs 2.81grams. The object is almost complete and has a rectangular form and cross section. It is formed of two sections, the first being cast and comprising of a three sided rectangular plate with an integral triangular terminal. It consists of a rectangular plate which has been folded in half and riveted together at its far end. It consists of an open circular loop from which protrudes two tapering sub triangular arms, all of which has a rectangular section. Medieval copper alloy two piece strap end. 37mm long, 10mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 3.58grams. The object consists of a trapezoidal shaped plate, formed of two pieces of metal held together at the wider end with a single circular sectioned rivet. The narrow end has rounded shoulders and a rectangular shaped terminal which when viewed from the side has a sub oval form. This is decorated with a series of diagonal incised lines. It is Similar to Fig 86, 614 in Egan and Pritchard's Dress Accessories and may represent a stylised human head?

Medieval copper alloy terminal, probably from a strap end. The object is in good condition with a dark green patina. It is 19mm long and 7mm wide with a sub-rectangular section.
