Early medieval copper alloy strap end, 32mm in length, 8mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 23.8grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section and is complete except for a small section of the upper edge. It has a rounded upper edge, with traces of two circular holes and this portion is spit in two. The main body has bowed sides and is decorated with a central panel of raised interlace, with possible silvering. The object terminates with an animal head with large rounded ears and projecting rectangular snout. The object fits Thomas class A type 1

Early medieval copper alloy strap end, 24mm in length, 9mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 1.39grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section and is incomplete. It has a rounded upper edge which has two (one damaged) circular holes. The sides are bowed and the main body is decorated with a central ridge and a recessed rectangular panel on either side. These panels may be decorated with a zig zag ridge, possibly visible in the lower section. The strap end is similar to a Thomas type A5.

Medieval copper alloy strap end, 24mm long, 14mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 3.43grams. The object is roughly rectangular in form and section. It has slightly tapering sides with an elongated semi-circular project in the centre of its lower, narrower edge. The object is formed of two pieces with a 'back plate' soldered onto the rest of the object. There is a single circular rivet hole in the centre of the upper edge. The object has no signs of any decoration.

The object is incomplete and represents about one half of a rectangular strap end. It has a flat rectanguar, raised section at one edge containing two circular rivets (lower edge in photo). Medieval copper alloy strap end plate, 28mm long, 14mm wide and 1mm thick. The obejct is in good condition and weighs 1gram. The plate is rectangular with very slightly tapering sides. It has been decorated with a solid incised border which is then sub-divided internally by several bands formed of two closely placed diagonal incised lines, one of which appears to have provided a weak spot as the object has broken along this axis. The object has two circular rivet holes placed near its upper edge.

Medieval (?) copper alloy object, possibly a strap end of unusual form. The object is trapezoidal, but with rounded projections at the ends. Ridges run along the long sides, and there is a recessed line across the wider end. On one side two spots of light green corrosion are visible, suggesting possible attachment points. The object is 31mm long, 13mm wide at its widest point, 2mm thick and weighs 1.84g.

It is similar to fig. 660, page 142 in Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories.
