Medieval? copper alloy strap end, 37mm long, 8mm wide and 4mm thickk with a weight of 4.10grams. The strap end is rectangular in form and sub rectangular in section. It is elongated and terminates with a three dimensional depition of a clenched fist. It has a single rivet placed just below its upper straight edge.

An incomplete Late Medieval copper alloy composite strap end, missing part of its openwork projection and its backplate. The strap end is of crescent shape and the surviving upper plate decorated with crudely incised lines and grooves. This plate is C-shaped, being widest at the centre and tapering to either end. The four rivet holes are present, two of which contain corroded rivets. Projecting outwards from the widest point is an openwork area which would originally have been triangular in form, although it is now squarish due to breakage. Copper alloy late medieval three part strap end with acorn terminal. It consists of a central forker spacer with an acorn terminal extending from the outer end and a plate covering each side. Both plates are pierced with an attachment hole at the inside end. It is very similar in form to two examples show in the Meols report, which is dated to the late 13th/early 14th - early 15th centuries (Griffiths et al. 2007, pl.23, no.1559&1560). Copper alloy backplate from a late medieval strap-end, covering the whole of the reverse of the strap-end including the sub-rectangular attachment plate and the sub-circular terminal. The plate is pierced with two asymetrically placed holes, one in the centre of the straight attachment edge and one off-centre at the junction of plate and terminal. The object is the central spacer plate from a three piece strap end. It consists of an open circular loop from which protrudes two tapering sub triangular arms, all of which has a rectangular section. The object terminates with a 3-dimensional acorn like knop, emerging from the edge of the circular portion.

The object is sub-rectangular in form and section and has slightly tapering sides which terminate on a triangular point. The upper edge has two V shaped recesses, under which are placed a copper alloy rivet. The surface has wheeled decoration dividing the surface into two halves, each decorated with a zig-zag line intersected by short horizontal lines.

The object is rectangular in form and section with a small rectangular protrusion at one short end. It is made up of two plates, the front plate having central rectangular cut out, so it resembles a frame. This is decorated with raised zig-zag lines possibly set in a linear border.
