Fragment of a silver object, probably originally a disc-shaped pendant. The fragment comprises a piece of silver sheet with no intact edge, decorated with repousse ornament creating five radiating lines of dots which converge in the centre of the fragment. The decoration upon this fragment, its form and its association with a grave assemblage suggests it could derive from a silver sheet disc-shaped or 'scutiform' pendant, similar to those illustrated in MacGregor and Bolick (1993) figs. 25.3-5, p. 162. Late Early Medieval silver coin pendant. The pendant is formed of a small silver coin and has a large loop, 4mm x 4mm, with decorated with a raised border and central ridge (fluted). This flares slightly where it meets the coin and has a triangular terminal which is fixed to the coin with a silver rivet. The coin is a silver penny of Edward the Confessor (1042-66), small flan type (c.1048-50; North 818). Moneyer: Brunwine, mint: Stamford. The bust is partly obscured but is closest to bust form e. An early medieval gold filigree disc pendant. The pendant comprises a circular, flat sheet of gold that is plain on the back and decorated with applied filigree motifs on the front. Medieval or Post medieval copper alloy pendant, 17mm in diameter, 2mm thick and weighing 1.89 grams. The pbject is circular in form with an integral suspenion loop and rectangular in cross section. It is decorated on one side with a solid raised outer border which has transverse notches cut into it along its length. Inside this is a scalloped border formed of pellets. This contains several semi-shperical projections, some of which are linked by raised straight lines. The reverse is plain.

Early Medieval gold pendant set with a red stone, presumably a garnet. The pendant is in the form of a stepped triangle, with three 'steps' on each side and a horizontal base. It has a rectangular cross section with a slightly concave reverse. The pendant is intact but part of the gold frame has been torn and is now bent away from the stone setting. Undated lead alloy axe pendant 26mm long, 25mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 8.83grams. Incomplete Roman copper alloy pendant in the shape of a phallus. Beyond the testicles there is a flat ovoid protruding disc. Above the testicles is a transverse indented groove. To the reverse is the remains of a damaged suspension loop. The phallus was a common amuletic symbol is the Roman world and these pendants are often found on military, urban and religious sites.
