Roman copper alloy votive axe fragment, 14mm in length, 5mm wide, with a weight of 1.26grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and rectangular in cross section. It consist of the sub rectangular blade which has a sharp downwards curve and no trace of a haft. Found in association with other votive axes LEIC-161C86 and LEIC-15FF66

Roman copper alloy votive axe, 16mm in length, 12mm wide, with a weight of 1.24grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It consists of a tapering blade with a curved upper and lower edge. It has an integral circular cross sectioned shaft which projects beyond the axe head. Found in association with LEIC-15FF66 and LEIC-1635BB. It is similar to SUR-B86F3C and BUC-411637.

Roman lead alloy votive axe, 18mm in length, 10mm wide, with a weight of 3.87grams. The object is sub-rectangular in form and cross section and consists of the axe head which is sub rectangular and widens to a flat blade. The narrower shaft end has a small stump of shaft emerging from beneath the head. It is similiar in form to GLO-F3F9B0 and OXON-B1FB07. Found in association with two others LEIC-161C86 and LEIC-1635BB

Roman copper alloy miniature object / votive axe, 150-250. Length: 32 mm, width: 29 mm, thickness: 5 mm, weight: 6.61 g. The axe consists of a circular cross sectioned shaft which has a rounded terminal with a double incised collar above. The axe head is sub rectangular, tapering in width and flaring outwards to form a blade. The shaft emerges from the top of the head slightly. The object has a circular cross sectioned short shaft, which widens into a rectangular cross sectioned 'fixing' for a triangular, shaped and cross sectioned, axe blade. Roman copper alloy miniature axe, long shaft, 23mm in length, 18mm wide and 8mm thick with a weight of 4.44grams. The object consists of a rectangular shaped, circular cross sectioned 'collar' which is filled with iron corroision. The head is triangular in form with a slightly curved blade with elongated corners. This is decorated on at least one, probably two, faces with a line of hollow circular stamps running along its lower edge. The object is probably a votive model.

Roman copper alloy miniature object representing a votive axe. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina, and consists of a rectangular head set into a circular sectioned shaft. The axe head is decorated with an incised cross on the corner adjoining the bar, this is the only visible design. It measures 31mm long, 14mm wide, 4mm thick and weighs 0.82 grams.

Roman copper-alloy miniature axe. The axe is in good condition with a green patina and weighs 6.71grams. It has a circular-sectioned shaft which is 3.5mm in diameter at its base and 5mm in diameter near the head. The shaft has a decorative terminal formed of a spherical knop below a rounded protruding collar. The axe head, which curves downwards on its upper surface and forms a tapering point on its lower surface, has incised decoration on each side. The object consists of a circular sectioned shaft which widens at its upper end to accomodate the centre of a trapezoidal shaped blade. The axe appears to have lost the lower part of its shaft and is simply made, probably for use as a votive offering.

A Roman copper-alloy miniature hafted axe. The handle is circular in section and has three incised transverse lines on one face near to its base. The axe head gently tapers and is 9mm wide at the blade edge and is 2mm thick. There are traces of a central horizontal line across the head on both sides. It is 27mm long and 17mm wide. The object is in good condition with a brown patina and weighs 4.13 grams.
