Post medieval silver? cock spur, 28mm long, 16mm wide and 13mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 2.75grams. The object consists of a circular tube which has two pointed projections at opposite sides of its upper edge. The edges are slightly turned outwards and directly under the points are two circular fixing holes, with a further to in between. On the opposite side there is a single hole and this sits above a narrow (3mm X2mm) rectangular sectioned shaft which emerges from the base of the tube and is broken off about 17mm in. Post Medieval silver cockspur, 34mm long, 11mm wide and 7mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 2.49grams. The object consists of an a curved sub rectangular plate which is incomplete. Near the outer damaged edge, is the remains of a circular fixing hole. Opposite this on the far side, the object tapers gently to a point. This portion of the object has a lozengiform section forming prominent ridges down its length. It also curves slightly in form so that it resembles a claw or thorn.
