Medieval copper alloy buckle and plate, 45mm long, 14mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 3.50grams. The object consists of an oval buckle with an integral rectangular plate which holds a circular hole for a pin attachment. just below this on the plate is a rivet. The opposite end of the plate has a slight rectangular protrusion which holds one rivet hole and has a long rectangular sectioned shaft emerging from its centre on the same alignment as the plate.

Medieval copper alloy three piece buckle and plate, 39mm long, 14mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 4.01 grams. The object consists of a circular loop with a protruding triangular pin rest. It has two integral parallel rectangular sectioned prongs which form the support for the plate. Both plates are present, though damaged and show no signs of decoration.

Medieval copper alloy buckle, 21mm long, 18mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in good condition with a green patina and weighs 2.54grams. The buckle has a rectangular section and is oval in form. It has a recessed circular pin bar and flared protrusions either side of a raised pin rest. The rest is decorated with incised lines and each protrusion emerges at an angle and is circular in section.

Early post medieval gilded copper alloy buckle, 41mm long, 21mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 4.98grams. The buckle is double looped with a sub rectangular section. It hassub circular protrusions at each end and its surface is decorated with punched circles. The whole of the upper surface has patches of gilding present. The pin is missing.

Late Roman copper alloy buckle, 25mm long and wide and 3mm thick. The buckle is in good condition, despite damage, has a green patina and weighs 4.79 grams. The buckle is D shaped and its curved part is made up of two stylised dolphins which are joined at the 'lips' as though kissing. Above these are two projecting horses heads with rather beak like muzzles, facing outwards. They have stamped circular eyes and a linear incision forming their mouths. Medieval copper alloy buckle, 24mm long, 16mm wide and 17mm high. The object is in the shape of a hollow animal head; it is rectangular in plan and a hollow D-shape in cross-section with a rectangular plan.
The curved upper surface is decorated with an animal head which continues down the sides, which gives the impression that the animal is eating whatever went through the middle (presumably a strap). Part of a medieval copper alloy buckle, 30mm long, 16mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 2.48g. The buckle is oval in form and sub rectangular in section. It has two integral rectangular sectioned spacer plates, one complete. There is a pin recess but this is not present.

Medieval silver buckle, 20mm long, 15mm wide and 4 mm thick with a weight of 3.78g.
The buckle is rectangular in form and cross section and consists of an oval frame which is made up of two straight sides and two curved ones, which have a trapezoidal cross section. The curves terminate at four sub spherical knops which are decorated with circular and semi-circular punch marks. The terminals of the curved parts form a slightly raised collar under each knop. Post Medieval copper alloy buckle, 51mm long, 37mm wide and 2.5mm thick. The object is in good condition with agreen patina and weighs 12.12grams. The buckle is rectangular in form and section. It has flat circular protrusions at each corner and has three pronged, fleuer like, protrusions in the centre of each edge. There is an integral semi-circular sectioned pin bar in the centre and the pin rest is marked out with an incised line. The buckle dates to 1620-80 and matches fig. 529 in 'Buckles 1250-1800' by Whitehead, R.
