Early Medieval cast lead disc brooch fragment in two joining pieces, 39mm in diameter, 2mm thick and weighing 12.95 grams. The brooch has a wide outer border, c.8mm wide, which is made up of a solid raised line which contains a series of short raised lines running to the objects edge. Inside this are further short raised lines running into the brooches centre, which has a large sub-spherical knop. Early Medieval cast lead disc brooch, 37mm in diameter, 3mm thick and weighing 17.75grams. The brooch is slightly bent in places, giving it an irregular edge. It has a border made up of two lines of spherical pellets. Inside this border the brooch has a sub rectangular border made up of 8 sub-spherial knops, each of which are joined by two curving raised lines forming an elipse or 'petal' like motif.
