Modern copper alloy Italian fascist youth badge, 3mm thick and 38mm in diameter with a weight of 11.44grams. The badge is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It is missing its pin and central disc on the reverse. The badge shows a left-facing helmeted bust of Benito Mussolini, surrounded by the inscription CREDERE OBBEDIRE COMBATTERE" (Believe Obey Fight) and inscribed "G.I.L." (Gioventù Italiana del Littorio) = Italian Fascist youth. The Reverse is inscribed witha warning - "MODELLO DEPOSITATO / RIPRODVZIONE INTERDETTA" = reproduction forbidden patent pending.

It is die-cast and consists of an open laurel wreath surrounding the letters LVR, with a fox running left across the top. LVR= Leicestershire Volunteer Regiment. The object probably dates to 1914 - 1945.

It has the dates 1887-1897 on one side so it is celebrating an anniversary, it also shows the monarchs name VICTORIA... but the rest of the lettering is difficult to read and the object is incomplete.

Post Medieval copper alloy and enamel badge, probably military. The badge has a scutiform shape and shows the coat of arms of Great Britain crossed with two sceptres and surmounted by a crown. The reverse has two obvious scars near its upper surface suggesting a pin or attachment strap.

Medieval silver badge fragment in two pieces, leg length 18 mm, width 7 mm; tail length 11 mm, width 5 mm. It represents the hindquarters of a lion with a flowing tail. The tail has broken off. On the reverse are traces of a pin attachment or stitching loop that would have attached the badge to a garment or a hat. The lion was probably used to signify a heraldic affiliation or perhaps the Royal Coat of Arms. The badge fragments are silver and date from the fourteenth or fifteenth century.
