Medieval gold finger ring, with a hoop 26mm long, 14mm wide and 5mm in thickness with a weight of 1.25g. The hoop has a D shaped, bevelled cross section and is decorated on its upper rounded surface with alternate pellet and cross stamps. It has a sub triangular shaped bezel with a circular cross section, 5mm high and in diameter. Where it joins the hoop there are a slight tapering ridges, two on each side emerging from the base of the loop. Bronze age? gold bead or bracelet fragment, 11mm long, 4mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 0.25g. The object is rectangular in form and sub circular in cross section. It consists of a rectangular fragment of worked sheet which has been folded up to make a bead? It has one clear complete plain edge then the body has a series of parallel indented lines about 0.5mm apart, running across its body to an incomplete edge. undated gold sheet, 15mm, long, 10mm wide and 0.25mm thick with a weight of 1.78g. The sheet is oval in form with a rectangular cross section. It is plain and appears to have been deliberately folded in half and then one edge has been folded over into the inside of the first fold. The objects full flattened length is c.28mm this and its form make it very similar to early Bronze age 'hair or basket ornaments' such as BERK-F548E6 and IOW-62FFD2, although this example has no decoration or the diagnostic rectangular projection usually found on these. Bronze age? gold linear sheet, possibly a bracelet fragment? 27mm long, 13mm wide 8mm thick and weighing 8.40g. The object is now sub rectangular in form and oval in cross section, it is a sheet that has been rolled around itself at least four times and appears to be incomplete. At the visible end it is 14mm wide and very thin less than 0.25mm thick. A post-medieval gold crown of the double rose of Henry VIII (1509-47), Third Coinage (1544-7), mint: Bristol (North 1836), initial mark: WS (1546-7). Ref: North 1991:114. The coin is in good condition, although a set of parallel lines across the coin (obverse) suggests that the coin was at some point bent.
