Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axe collar fragment, 22mm in length, 20mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 6.08grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section and has a curved profile. Its complete edge has a rounded D shaped cross sectioned collar on the outer surface, 2mm thhick and wide. Below this is a narrow linear depression. There is a second rounded collar 4mm wide, 11mm in from the first. To the left of the object (as shown) is a distinct casting seam running the length of the fragment.

Post medieval copper alloy button, 10mm in length and 20mm in diameter with a weight of 3.03grams. The button is circular in form and rectangular in cross section and has a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned loop with a circular hole. The button is decorated with a stamped linear motif in the form of a cross with oval, petal like motifs in each quarter. The button is similar to fig.8.4, page 31 in Bailey, G. 'Buttons and fastener's, which he dates to 17th century.

Late medieval to post medieval copper alloy French jetton. The obverse depcits four fleurs de lis in a lozenge within a tressure of four arches, and the reverse depicts a simple cross pattee in the field with flowers in each quarter. These jettons were struck mainly in Tournai during the reign of Louis XII (1497-1515) but also struck during the reign of Francis I (1515-1547) up to the year 1521 when Tournai was occupied by Charles V. The obverse compares well with Mitchiner 726a. Cf. Mitchiner, 1988, pp.236-238, no.726a. For a similar example see CORN-0881BE.

The mopunt is incomplete and currently has a triangular form with a rounded cross section, originally it would have been a pointe doval form. Its hollow underside houses a circular cross sectioned shaft, 2mm in diameter, with a projecting circular terminal, 4mm in diameter.

Medieval copper alloy buckle plate, 22mm in length, 12mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 1.50grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of a sheet which is wider at one short end and this houses a semi-circular recess to accomodate the buckle pin. Behind this are two circular holes, one with an intact rivet, 5mm long and 2mm in diameter. A third rivet sits at the opposite end, centrally positioned. The upper surface appears to have a slight recessed border, now only evident as the patches of gilding which remain stop at it.

The object has flattend short ends which have a recessed, narrow bar forming the edge of the rectangular hole.

Roman copper alloy finger-ring or 'key-ring' bit dating to c AD 250-300 (Guiraud type 5), The bit comprises a cyclindrical, hollow shank which has a sub-rectangular shaped and cross sectioned 'bit' attached. This has a 'squared off S-shape' with a short shaft emerging from the shank then turning at right angles three times (left, right, left). The outer edge (sitting parallel to the shank) has four very worn small incisions along its length. The ring is very similar to WILT-F6D8BA and of a similar type to YORYM-34F534, LIN-62B3A4 and various other examples.

Probable 16th Century copper alloy button, or possibly a stud? 21mm in length, 4mm wide and 10mm in diameter with a weight of 3.64grams. The object has a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned shaft, 15mm long, 4mm wide and 3mm thick, which tapers in width and appears to have a broken end? Above this is a semi-circular solid terminal, 10mm in diameter. The object is very similar to a buttons illustrated in Bailey, G. Buttons and Fasteners, p.23, fig 7.4 and p.29, fig.7.43, but as it has no loop it may be a stud.
