Roman or medieval? vessel body sherd, 49mm long, 42mm wide and 7mm thick with a weight of 21.24grams. The sherd has a fine fabric and a strange reddish outer? and body colour and a reduced grey interior? colour and appears wheel made. It has very small white calcite inclusions and more larger irregular quartzite ones.

Medieval??? vessel rim sherd, 43mm long, 29mm wide and 11mm thick with a weight of 14.33grams. The sherd has a fine fabric with no obvious inclusions and a dark reddish colour. it has a slightly protruding wheel turned? rim which has a sub triangular profile and sits in front of a straight sided edge. The sherd is probably medieval in date, but the fabric is unfamiliar.

Post Medieval staffordshire slipware fragment, 50mm long, 31mm wide and 6.50mm thick with a weight of 15.63 grams. The sherd has the distinct 'tiger stripe' black and yellow combed glaze on its inner surface. The fabric is buff/orange with a fine composition, small inclusions and small oval holes. The sherd is probably from a plate or shallow dish.

Early medieval to Medieval Stamford ware vessel handle fragment, 37mm long, 31mm wide and 19mm thick with a weight of 10.05 grams. The fragment consists of the upper part of a handle with a rectangular form and a sub rectangular cross section. The intact side edges of the handle have rounded upturned surfaces, creating a central depression. The handle widens outwards slightly at the upper edge. The fabric has a buff, creamy- pink appearance and is covered with a shiny translucent glaze.
