Early Medieval copper alloy Cross potent small long brooch dating to 6th century. The object is 60mm in length and 28mm wide. The pin is missing and the catchplate is slightly damaged. The brooch has been broken in two about half way down, towards the bottom of bow and is held in place by a modern repair. The brooch has a rectangular head plate which has incised lines running parallel to its edge. It has a trilobed cut out in each top corner, about 10mm deep. Complete bow brooch with exposed spring. It has a complete pin and catchplate and dates to 1st century AD. Its 35mm wide and 60mm long and made of bronze. The brooch is formed by a bar (called a wing) which is 35mm across and circular in profile. This forms the head of the brooch and houses the spring. Coming down from the centre of this is the comma shaped body which starts 10mm wide and tapers in towards its end. Copper alloy brooch of a horse, 38mm long and 28mm high, 2nd Century. The horse is flat and facing right, its missing its legs and tail. It has a narrow head with wider neck and shoulders. At the base of the shoulders is the broken off front leg which faces forward. The underside is very straight and the centre of the torso is narrow. towards the hind quarters this curves downwards to the broken off back leg. Roman Bow (or Dolphin) brooch, 40mm long and 28mm wide. The pin is missing and the brooch has no decoration. The brooch is formed by a bar (called a wing) which is 28mm across and semi-circular in profile. This forms the head of the brooch and houses the spring. Coming down from the centre of this is the comma shaped body which starts 8mm wide and tapers in towards its end. Recorded at the 'Hidden Treasures' finds day at Market Harborough.

Two, probably a pair, of cruciform brooches; one is complete, the other has only the upper part present. The complete one measures 128mm in length and is 34mm wide at the head plate with a 16mm shaft. It is made up of protruding knob with two bands of decoration carved into its surface. Copper alloy Roman Colchester derivative brooch of Dolphin type. The wings have two deep incised lines running vertically at each end. The bow curves downwards, is very thin and tapers down to a point. The spring is intact but the pin and cathplate are missing. The brooch is 45mm long and 30mm wide.

Copper alloy Roman Polden hill bow brooch, 32mm long and 23mm wide. The Brooch is very small and has a very wide body. The wings are very short and have no decoration other than rolled edges? The shaft is very wide, taking up most of the width and curves very sharply. It is decorated with three deep chevrons, the uppermost has a beaded border, these curve around and down the broch almost half way. catchplate and pin missing.

Copper alloy Roman Bow Brooch, Colchester derivitive. 38mm long and 27mm wide. The wings are covered in vertical bands of decoration, some are incised into the surface and others are flat and have horizontal lines in between. There is an intact loop at the top. The shaft has a concave shape and has similar decoration with the outer edges covered in horizontal lines which meet vertical lines near the centre. pin and cathplate missing but spring intact. Similar to 376 in hattatt .

Copper alloy Roman Aesica Brooch, 43mm long and 20mm wide. This brooch worn and has no surface left. The pin is missing but the casing is intact. The brooch is made up of two distinct parts, the first emerges from the spring and covers almost its full length. the flat trapizodal shape then curves upwards and out. From this shape a small strip of metal, C.4mm wide, curves downwards to join the other section. Copper-alloy early Anglo-Saxon Cross Potent small-long brooch, (Type 673, p.376 in Hattatt) 53mm long and 27mm wide. The headplate is rectangular, but has some damage and is missing part of its upper edge. It has bi-lobed cut-outs on each side of its upper edge and semi-circular cut-outs on the lower edge, at each side of the bow.
