A group of undated fragmentary objects/ casting waste? Each object has a greenish/grey patina, with a hint of a shiny surface showing through in patches. The smallest is is in the form of a droplet or small casting sprue clearly diagnostic of metalworking. The next is roughly C shaped with a projecting triangular cross section. The largest has the appearance of being fractured from a large mass? and has one flat surface with diagonal striations running across it. Undated copper alloy strap fitting, Length: 55 mm, width: 15 mm, thickness: 11 mm, weight: 40.61g. The object is incomplete and is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It consists of a upper bar with an undulating upper surface which curves round at one end then is broken, suggesting an oval shape when intact. The upper surface has a triangular projection at one end then a slight depression followed by a sub rectangular projection with transverse incised lines at each edge. The object appears to be some sort of slide or harness fitting .

Its surface is decorated with an oval shaped raised line with a worn design inside. Outside long elongated triangles project with short raised lines interspersed, giving a sun-like effect. The object is squashed and its sides are damaged and incomplete, but its overall form suggest a cap or lid ?
