A Late Iron Age to Roman copper-alloy linch pin head. It is 20mm long and 15mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 15.55g. The object is cylindrical and has a straight outer section at each end C.5mm wide, which contains a semi-circular recessed centre, C.7mm wide and 10mm in diameter. At each end there is a protrusion, one is rectangular and is 5mm wide and protrudes 2mm, it has possible tooling marks around its base? at the other end is a shallow raised circle with a hollow centre.

Iron Age copper alloy and red enamel harness fitting. The object appears to be complete despite having an off centre rectangular suspension loop. The decoration consists of three hollow circles which are filled with dished red enamel and are contained by raised rounded borders. These are arranged to form a triangular shape with the rectangular loop sitting along side one of the 'lower' circles.
